A Vision Brewed Over Time
Quinteassence began as a shared dream between our founder, Jonathan, and co-creator Earnest — two friends and visionaries who believed in the power of sober community spaces and botanical-based healing. Before there was a storefront, there were festival tents, handmade brews, and long nights spent connecting with people at music events, spiritual gatherings, and local markets.
In 2022, after years of pop-ups and persistence, we poured everything we had into opening our brick-and-mortar kava bar in Lakeland, Florida. We built it ourselves — not with investors, but with every dollar we could scrape together, every favor we could call in, and every ounce of determination we had.
Running an almost completely bootstrapped business hasn’t been easy. We’ve faced overwhelming odds, financial constraints, and the constant hustle of keeping things going. But we’re still standing — and that’s something we’re deeply proud of.
Today, Quinteassence stands as a living expression of our community, our culture, and our commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and healing space for anyone seeking connection through botanical relief.
